Elisabeth Vaneveld:
I love facilitating strategic thinking and creative processes to assist organisations, groups and teams to produce strong solutions and effective results.
Currently, I'm the Executive Director of The Big Idea Trust, a national organisation in New Zealand's creative sector that is intent on driving creativity into all sectors of New Zealand society. In that role, I'm also the Executive Producer of New Zealand’s largest on-line community in the creative sector: www.thebigidea.co.nz.
As well, I'm a senior project manager for TBI Assist, the Trust’s creative & professional services unit. One of the initiatives that I lead in this role is ART Venture, an acceleration programme for creative entrepreneurs working in the Auckland region.
I've more than 30 years experience in creative / cultual sector as a project leader, strategic thinker and creative entrepreneur undertaking many roles and projects including devising productions, managing tours, organising festivals, running shows and events, creating projects across art forms, saving historic buildings, supporting new voices, developing partnerships, building networks and facilitating change. For ten years until April 2006, I was Creative New Zealand's Manager: Northern Arts Services, based in Auckland.
