I have just moved to New Zealand from the UK, I am looking to further my career and get my big break. I am currently represented by Talanto talent agency and have just finished performing in Tim Bray's 'The Santa Claus Show'. I am highly motivated, confident and dedicated to my profession. I am looking for theatre, film and tv work and know that I can bring a lot to any production I am involved in.
- Big Idea
I have been acting and dancing from a young age. In the UK I attended Stagecoach performing arts schools for young people through this I was part of the children's choir, for the professional tour of 'Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat.' Through college I was involved in a variety of performances, including dancing at the opening of the Millenium Dome in London and working with many famous choreographers, directors and musical theatre teachers. I also auditioned and got the part of Juliet in an original musical performance of 'Romeo and Juliet'. I went on to study a foundation diploma in performing arts at Bodywork Dance School and was part of The Youth Showchoir of London, performing in Trafalga square, NSPCC's fundraiser at The Savoy Hotel and The Old Vic Theatre. I then went on to study a BA Degree in 'Drama and Community Arts' at Manchester Metropolitan University. I played Anna in 'Closer' and then onto my biggest challenge yet, which was a main character in 'Pool no Water'. We worked with a student director and were all involved in the process of taking an un-staged and un-characterised piece of dialogue and and making it into to a first class honours standard performance. I moved onto Cape Town and worked as a background artist on many different tvc's and films. Moving back to Manchester I was involved in producing Oliver with a modern twist. Taking me up to the present day, looking for my next adventure I moved to New Zealand and signed up with an acting agency, wanting to get work straight away. I was cast as Alana in Tim Bray's 'The Santa Claus Show', which ran for 3 weeks. I am now looking for my next challenge in the arts world.
