Fulbright New Zealand
We administer a range of awards for New Zealanders and Americans wanting to study and research in each other's country. We also provide advising services for New Zealand citizens intending to study in the United States.
Fulbright New Zealand (The New Zealand-United States Educational Foundation) was established under a treaty in 1948 between the United States and New Zealand governments, to promote mutual understanding between peoples of the two countries through educational and cultural exchange. We administer a range of prestigious awards for New Zealand and American students, scholars and professionals. We also provide educational advising services for New Zealanders intending to study in the United States. Past and present New Zealanders who have travelled to USA on Fulbright programmes include Bill Manhire, Witi Ihimaera, Sima Urale, Gareth Farr, Simon O'Neill, Julian Daspher and Alexa Still.
