A bit about

Harbourview Sculpture Trail on Te Atatu Peninsula has been set up by Te Atatu Business Association and supported by Auckland Council to provide a venue for artists to display their work, enhance the environment of Te Atatu Peninsula and to make a wide range of sculpture and outdoor art available for viewing and purchasing by a broad cross section of the Auckland public who may not have experienced this before.
This event will be held biennially as a fundraising opportunity for Hospice whose purpose is to ensure all New Zealanders have access to the best possible hospice care at the end of their lives.
The sculpture trail is located at the southern end of Harbourview Park on Te Atatu Peninsula with a mixture of environments in which to display sculpture and stunning views across the harbour to Auckland City, the Harbour Bridge and to Rangitoto Island beyond.
Opening on Saturday 3rd March until Sunday 25th March 2012.

Big Idea

Harbourview Sculpture Trail is a biennial sculpture trail event to be held in March 2012, in the beautiful surroundings of a Te Atatu Peninsula park to support Hopsice and featuring sculptural work by emerging and established New Zealand artists.
