The hopeful inception of a compilation album featuring the cream of local musical talent from in and around the Motueka area. Mostly contemporary but with room to include acts that have been and gone too. Would love to have it as a musical momento for locals of all the talented people that they share the town with. Also a saleable product for tourists passing through the town wishing to have some kind of cultural momento of their time here. This being a success, it would also be lovely for it to grow into some kind of a musical festival during summer months.
- Big Idea
Our hope is that once the Album is up and running we can organise an annual musical festival in town to promote this and future local musical productions and promote local artists and their music
