Making Movies is a screen production company based in New Zealand.
James Heyward is the development producer and executive technologist. (recently promoted myself when my assistant left . sadly . .)
We have offices in Auckland and Queenstown and develop projects which travel and resonate with global audiences. Where possible we look for co-production partners. Our titles include, The Fatal Game, Dying for Everest, Miracle at Sea, Pain & Suffering.
Making Movies was established in 1989 and since that time we have worked with directors and producers from around the globe and our knowledge of New Zealand and the Pacific is second to none. We have supplied production services across genre including high end commercials, documentaries, theatrical features and drama's.
Making Movies multi award winning programmes have been co-produced for, and/or acquired by networks such as ZDF, ARTE, ABC, NGT, Discovery Networks, BBC, NHK, RTN, RAI, TV3 and OLN.
