Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens
A tranquil, peaceful oasis set in gardens on a rural property looking out to the Kaipara Harbour. It features 60 selected contemporary sculptures, created by established and emerging New Zealand artists.
The sculpture gardens have been developed in conjunction with Kaipara Coast Plant Centre which has been owned and operated by David Bayly from this site since 1988. The site was developed so that visitors to the gardens can stroll along the sculpture trail and find inspiration for selecting sculptures and plants to enhance their gardens and property while enjoying great views of the rural setting.
The sculpture gardens are only a 35 minute drive from Auckland on the scenic SH 16 route, just 4 km north of Kaukapakapa, making it readily accessible to a large public and to potential clients.- Big Idea
The sculpture Gardens aims to profile the best in contemporary New Zealand sculpture and with a completely new exhibition of sculptures each year we aim to keep the trail fresh, challenging and interesting.
