A bit about

After some 30 years travelling the world making & selling a wide variety of arts'n'crafts, I am finally back home in Aotearoa.
Each week I enjoy dumpster diving & trash trawling for discarded items to use in my upcycled sculptural & trashion pieces.
My youtube channel features my short videos on materialism - in alignment with the ideals of the & movements, in a humourous fashion.
I teach aspects of art/craft/design to children & adults.
I have been invited by Corbans Art Estate to be a tutor for their "Trash to Fashion" workshops for 2012.

Big Idea

Recycling is great - however, recycling items doesn't justify buying lots of consumer garbage in the first place.
My aim is to question our purchasing motivations - are we simply pawns of Saatchi & Saatchi, the Warehouse, & Apple? Or can we see thru their consumerist brainwashing to create our own lives?
