Vision and Objectives
To recognise the life and art of Colin McCahon through a residency of international standing and to preserve the McCahon house as a place for the public to visit.
The McCahon House Trust is restoring the old home of artist Colin McCahon and will allow public access by arrangement with Lopdell House Gallery and is building a new accommodation and artist's studio to establish a new national and international artist in residence scheme for mid career artists.
The project will be opened on 24 August 2006 with a McCahon exhibition at Lopdell House Gallery.
