- A bit about
My name is Michael Rewiri-Thorsen. I'm in my early thirties, and stand at an average 5'11" in socks.
I've been acting since the age of ten, when I first took tentative steps in my fluoro sneakers onto the boards of the Auckland Youth Theatre.
Since then I've been involved in theatre through directing, writing, acting, lighting, costuming and pretty much everything to do with theatre. It's more than just a hobby, it's my life. I've performed on stage here in New Zealand (up and down the country) and Australia.
I write plays, short stories, attempt performance poetry and stand-up comedy once in a while.
- Big Idea
My Big Idea is to bring to stage new youth performers from underprivileged families. I have the drive to succeed. I have the background knowledge and contacts. I even have four cats.
I just need the time.
