A bit about

NorthTec is the only Northland-based Tertiary Education Institute (TEI) that provides programmes ranging from foundation, certificate, diploma and degree levels. In the arts, our expert tutors teach digital media, Maori arts, photography, visual arts, fashion, applied writing, and more.

NorthTec's arts programme is an environment that encourages you to challenge your thinking and your attitudes. As working artists, our tutors maintain very close ties with their artistic communities and creative industries, and they understand the reality of making a living within them.
