Auckland's Red Leap Theatre is a movement and image based devising theatre company under the Artistic leadership of Kate Parker and Julie Nolan. Its mission is to:
- create spirited visual and physical theatre to inspire and invigorate our audience and community
- deliver compelling, courageous process and performance in an environment of play and instinct combined with discipline and experience.
Dubbed by critics as Restlessly Creative... Endlessly Inventive, Red Leap is recognised for its unique blend of striking visual imagery, ensemble physicality and stories with heart.
Past repertoire includes Moahuning (2001), The Butcher's Daughter (2003), Beyond The Blue (2008), The Arrival (2009), and Paper Sky (2011).
