Simon is one of the New Zealand's most experienced Commercials Editors. He began his csareer in 1982-1989 at Motion Pictures Ltd (one of NZ's busiest TV Commercial Production Houses). He learnt his craft assisting leading Editor Michael Horton (LOTR The Two Towers, Once Were Warriors).
Simon continued to work at Motion Pictures as Editor, Sound Editor and Post Production Supervisor. He went freelance in 1989.

Major international campaign for NZ Tourism : "100% Pure New Zealand" (1999, 2000 + 2001)
(Director Roger Tompkins, Cranbrook films)International Campaign for "Playstation" (2004)
(Director Simon Mark-Brown, Republic Films)'International Campaign for UNICEF "Paper Birds" starring Jackie Chan (bird flu awareness) - (2006)
