Cathy Aronson – The Big Idea Editor

Cathy is a journalist, photo journalist and online editor with more than 10 years experience.

As a reporter she has worked in community news, daily news and has covered everything from environment, councils and transport to the creative industries. As an online editor she has worked on two of New Zealand’s biggest websites.

Cathy has a passion for online communities, the creative industries and creative diversity. Her creative practice includes writing, poetry and photography.

    Obtain a form from the Devonport Library, submit your poem at the library by Thursday 2 July, then come to the Depot Artspace, 28 Clarence Street, Devonport, on Sunday 26 July from 1 to 3 pm for readings and a spot prize ceremony. All submitted poems will be posted around Devonport.

    Children and adults are invited to write a star of a poem to help create a million poems for Matariki.
