A bit about

TICKETUS provides you with an affordable, secure, efficient bookings, RSVP and ticketing service at pricing customised to the scale and circumstances of your event and organisation.

In a way we partner with your marketing effort to realise your audience and or attendee targets.

TICKETUS tries to knock away the unnecessary cost of ticketing for clients and customers and customers alike.

We make every effort to steer you in the direction of a ticketing solution that will fit your needs and budget and that this is delivered to your customers at the best possible price - usually around 50% cheaper than other services (variable).

While we will certainly provide hard-copy ticketing services at your request we in fact recommend that you opt for electronic ticketing as a cheaper more efficient option.

We provide fee free payment options - internet banking and direct credit from any bank. We also accept payment by cheque (and Paypal will be available soon). We do not currently accept direct credit card payments due to the additional costs this generates for customers, clients and TICKETUS.

TICKETUS provides enhanced services to your customers with provision for exchange, transfer, replacement and refunds on tickets (conditions and service fees apply).

TICKETUS provides useful sales and activities reports to assist you with marketing decisions.

TICKETUS ticketing revenues are held securely, under guarantee in an independent trust account until the event or service is provided to your customers. Neither the managers of TICKETUS nor clients have access to these revenues until the post event reconciliation (normally following within 1-2 days of the event).

We see ourselves as part of the events, entertainment and broad creative sector and aim to provide audience development and marketing support and assistance as the TICKETUS business builds and opportunities allow. Your business and support will make this happen.

Whether large or smaller - contact us about ticketing solutions for your show or party, Gala, conference, promotion, exhibition, social or community event. info.ticketus@gmail.com

BEHIND THE SCENES

The TICKETUS service has been designed and was established by Richard Howard in 2009 as a practical response to disturbing ticketing service trends and the current economic challenges. Richard was a founder of www.tbi.co.nz, the New Space artists professional development programme, founder of Kingsland Central Studios, a contributor to the design and delivery of the Art Venture programme for entrepreneurs and most recently to ART Generator entrepreneurs network. Previously he worked extensively in the performing arts and was Director of the People in Parks programme for Auckland City Council in 1980's. He also managed the Marionette Theatre of Australia and The Rocks Theatre in Sydney. He is a highly experienced arts manager, lateral and creative thinker, producer and events organiser and received a Social Entrepreneurship Award in 2003.

Big Idea

Immediately: fairly priced, customer responsive ticketing services - less of an audience development obstacle and less of an irritant to customers; a practical initiative in challenging economic times.

Underway: ticketing services accessible to individuals, smaller organisations and boutique events

Soon: Enhanced marketing and sales services complementary to the ticketing function

Later (but not too much later): TICKETING a significant (freight free, carbon neutral) New Zealand export opportunity.

As and when possible: returning value to the events, entertainment, arts and creative sectors
