WPC is a brand new performance venue, that was offically opened by the Right Honorable Christopher Finlayson, Minister of Arts, Heritage and Culture on June 2011, and is home to four full time performing arts tertiary programmes, as well as evening social dance classes, childrens performing arts programmes and theatre productions.
Located in the heart of Wellington City (25 Vivian Street) near the theatre and cinema district, WPC is a great place to host small scale shows and productions of various styles in the Theatre, dance rehearsals or classes, workshops and more.
WPC has in total 9 spaces available for public hire. These spaces are very popular and are only available outside of the normal teritary hours of 8am-5pm Monday to Friday during school terms. However the theatre is available to book all year around (note that June-July and late September to early December are usually heavily booked for our Tertiary classes shows)
