Share your content on The Big Idea

When thinking about content you want to share remember that what you share shows your attitude and professionalism as well as creative and artistic ability. Treat The Big Idea as your online portfolio. Share material that supports what you or your organisation want to achieve and how you want to build or enhance your reputation.

SHARE your News

  • tell The Big Idea Editor about your News & Story Ideas
  • distribute your Media Releases directly to The Big Idea community
  • share personal and professional Development Resources with other members of the community. They could be manuals & guides you have written that have helped you and your members.

SHARE your Events

  • let The Big Idea community know about your upcoming Events, shows, exhibitions or performances
  • tell The Big Idea Editor about What's On & Show Reviews

SHARE your Jobs & Opportunities

SHOW your Work

  • show your Object Art e.g. jewellery, furniture, artifacts etc in The object gallery
  • show your Pictures & Paintings in The gallery
  • show your Clothing and Accessories in The clothing gallery
  • show your Videos (Google, MySpace, YouTube or custom URL) in The multimedia gallery
  • show your Music in The audio lounge
  • show your Writing in The readers' and writers' room
  • show your Illustrations & Cartoons in The drawers' gallery
  • show Miscellaneous items (e.g. word, powerpoint, CAD, excel, pdf documents) in The gallery for other things
  • tell the community about the work you are doing with a Work-In-Progress

ENHANCE Your Profile

Make sure you have built a basic profile then enhance it by

TALK to the community 

  • let employers know you are Looking For Work
  • let the community know if you have recently changed job or made a key appointment in the creative sector via Who Got That Job
  • are you a Kiwi in another land? Let us know what you are up to over there via a Postcards From Far Away
  • let the community know about Websites, Blogs, Podcasts, Vlogs you like and why
  • or join a forum to connect and chat with people interested in the same issues as you.
