NZFW 10: Starfish
Starfish at NZ Fashion Week 2010
Starfish has come to be known for its relaxed style with an ethical edge. Their garments merge understated elegance with enduring designs and use natural and eco-friendly fabrics, trims and dying processes to create beautiful clothes with as little impact as possible.
Leading the field in this area Starfish became the first New Zealand fashion label to win a Sustainable business award in 2007. Since then every successive range has been eagerly anticipated for its conscious choice of fabrics and innovative designs. Through this approach founder and Designer Laurie Foon demonstrates that a love for fashion can go hand in hand with caring for the environment.
With stores in Wellington, Christchurch, and soon to be Auckland, Starfish continues to be 100% made onshore in New Zealand.
