John Carr
I am a full-time writer and multimedia content developer for an educational publishing company as well as a part-time cartoonist ( http://www.carrtoons.co.nz ), stand-up comedian and performance poet.

I won the Auckland Readers and Writers Festival "Poetry Idol" competition in 2009 and the Going West Books and Writers Festival Poetry Slam in 2010. I do regular stand-up performances at the Classic Comedy Club in Auckland.
