Model Guide - Tim Portans (Character)
The shots above are all cels from the cartoon, digital cels.
I'm going for a retro cartoony style in a classic 'man vs animal' scenario. Don't worry, the shot gun will play a very minor part in the cartoon and I won't over use the pop out eye gags. This work is from a short cartoon I am making when I have the time. It is called "An Eye for an Aye-Aye" and it started out as my student film in 2007.
Hand drawn, pencil on paper, digitally inked, coloured and composited using open source software.

Hey,
I'm a traditional animator,
I am part Kiwi, part Filipino and based in Auckland. I studied character animation at Freelance Animation School and now I'm working on some hand drawn animation projects of my own.I want to make my own short films and eventually develop a feature film.
I am influenced by the Golden Age of Animation, The work of Walt Disney studios and the 'Looney Tunes'.
