octo stool
The Octo stool was designed as an exercise in waste reduction. All parts fit almost perfectly in a square.
It is cut from luxury marine plywood that comes in a colored finish that still shows the woodgrain. Edges are beveled for a signature look.
No glue, screws or nails are used - the stool parts are high-precision CNC cut so they fit perfectly.
The stool can just as easily be taken apart for transport or storage.
It is sturdy and functional. It is by far the most used piece of furniture in the house!
8 stools snugly fit on a standard 4'x8' sheet of plywood
the plywood used is high quality 15 ply marine plywood precoated with a colored phenol layer
the glues and coating are non-toxic
the plywood is from manufactured sustainably harvested birch
