CHCH 220212 Type Branding Poster Project
A Creative response to bring to the World's attention, the continuing problems of the People of Christchurch.
It's a new poster awareness series to highlight CHCH in NZ, and that help is still needed. I'm hoping to get some collaboration on this project (get them printed?) or even better an organisation to take this series up and start a campaign to sell them?
We have a strong connection to Christchurch in NZ, on my Wife's side with both family and friends there, and I have thought for a good while that I should get a project going to still highlight the continuing problems the people of the city are having with the continuing earthquakes. Once again in recent days over the Xmas period they have suffered 3 extensive quakes, which have weakened areas already very week from the major quakes of 04/09/10 and 22/02/12.

New qualification attained - Master of Arts in Communication Design. University of Salford, October 2011.
Future goals are to continue Consulting on specialist areas within Visual Communications in Professional Industrial Practice and at Degree level in Education Professional Practice in areas like Graphic Design, and Multimedia.
General Graphic Design in both the Conventional and Digital forms, specialising in Typography up to Degree Level (Especially this area, as a lot of good design is let down by poor type execution) Branded Packaging, Branding Corporate Projects, Art Direction, and a keen interest in Photography both Conventional and Digital, plus in addition a keen interest in the ‘History of Art’, especially Graphic Design History, and also interested in the broad development of Community Art projects and how they are delivered.
I have 25 years Professional experience, specialist areas of Packaging, Typography, Art Direction, and Corporate, however I have done everything above and below the line. I have worked at the Creative Director Level both in UK and overseas, and now teach Graphics and the Arts. Currently I'm teaching CS3 Suite on lower level Graphics courses, CS5 Suite Digital Skills on higher level courses, and just about to start putting together my own website, in addition I use Freehand MX and Acrobat, I can also use PC for Admin purposes. I'm also really keen to get involved in Arts and Photographic Projects on a City, Regional and National level and have my own work published. Especially my own 'Personal Research/Writing Project which I have been working on for the last 2 years.
