Maori Representation - Auckland
The digital image was inspired by an old whakatauki which speaks of leadership in Tamaki Makau Rau....and those who wore the distinct spotted kuri - dog cloaks
The city view was shot at 10.30pm from Te Atatu Road, Waitakere City, April 2009. The kaitiaki were digitally introduced to represent Maori representation and 1000 years of history in Tamaki Makau Rau.
The digital image is printed on gloss vinyl adhesive and mounted on 3mm paylite:
Dimensions 400mm L x 200mmH (Special edition 1/15)
The image can be reproduced to larger sizes on request.
I have a 2metre banner which was produced for the May 25, Hikoi.
