Lindis Pass

Sarah is an Auckland-based artist with a life-long love of painting and drawing, but until recently she lacked the time and creative flow to put her ideas into action. A serious case of redundancy in 2009 resulted in her travelling to Europe for job-loss therapy. Her financial situation being somewhat ‘iffy’, she spent her time abroad trawling any free galleries and museums she could find. She thoroughly recommends the Saatchi Gallery in London. This experience rekindled her artistic enthusiasm, and since returning home, Sarah has been working in oils and acrylics to put her vision of the New Zealand landscape and street scene onto canvas.
