An Ecstasy Daydream

This was my final work which i presented at the end of year otago ploytechnic site exhibition.

My work developed then to investigate the notion of aesthetic exaltation or ‘ecstasy’. I would like to ask the question how do people seek to escape the realities of life today to attain ecstasy through various means.

The process I’ve taken has been to directly draw, screen print and paint directly onto the wall space. This was a challenge as I’ve never done a piece of artwork so big and public.
