Splore Arts Trail: Tree of Life

Splore Arts Trail 2010: Tree of Life

The Tree of Life Installation brings together Emily Carter & Miranda Brown's talents and passions for textile craft and the ritual of people gathering together in a communal mindful space.

The installation is an interactive craft circle where participants create prayer flags for mother earth / Papatuanuku; giver of life to all her inhabitants. The prayer flags are then attached to the tree and their messages are carried by the four winds to all corners of the world and the spaces in between.
