Originally from Auckland and trained in ceramics at the Otago school of Fine Art, Dunedin, Gabby's medium is currently watercolour on paper.
Gabby produces work with the sole aim of putting a smile on your face.

Gabby MalpasBorn and raised in Auckland, I have been an exhibiting artist since 1987, working from NZ, the UK and Australia where these days I call Sydney home. Originally trained in ceramics, I now work in paper, fabric and beads though I like to think my love of colour and shape is evident in current work.
Like most artists I have a day job, my studio is the kitchen table but I still dream.
