Two Paris inspired collages

 In 2009 I spent some time in beautiful Paris and loved the style that surrounded me.  I bought paper bags that were used for carrying bread and little cakes from the  patisseries (oh yes I love the food, ooh la la) and started to do small sounvenir collages for myself. Thisi led to a larger collage all about my trip, and finally these large collages that have a hint of the Parisian style, also with a touch of my 'naive' approach to art.. anyway have a look, they have recently been exhibited at the Porcine gallery Whangarei and some have already been sold. 

Prior to doing these collages I was doing large abstract acrylic paintings.
