 Galle Road

 This is a oil painting that i painted in Colombo City, which is the Capital of Sri Lanka.

  It is a depiction of main road which runs all the way down the coast from Colombo.

 It is part of a series of paintings I painted, when I lived there for one year, in amongst

 the chaos and fear the local people lived in.

 I was overwhelmed by their generosity, and happy faces. Yet they survive one at a time.

With there hand painted buses and colourful signs everywhere.
