REACH, original NZ art, BONNIE COAD.

REACH is textured and richly colored.
It features two human forms reaching out but unable to connect with each other.
It symbolizes the modern age, a faceless society. As we communicate more and more electronically we lose the ability to reach out to one another on a human level, becoming more and more inept in normal social situations.

91.2cm wide by 61cm long on a 3.7cm deep canvas. Painted completely, finished to a high standard, no need to frame. Strung and named on the back with artists information.

I am a visual artist residing in Marlborough, NZ.
I come from an artistic family and was always encouraged to explore my creative side while growing up.
We lived in a very isolated area of the West Coast when I was young and had no electricity or modern convenience's.
I think that this played a large part in nurturing my creative side.

I am House Artist for the Riverside Cafe in Upper Moutere, Motueka.
They are open for nine months of the year, and my art is exhibited for most of this time.
I am listed with Art+Soul, art agency and gallery, Auckland.
