THE PATCHWORK BLANKET is a textured and vibrant composition featuring a woman reclining on a couch covered by a crazy quilt.
The vibrant colors in the blanket is off set by the starkness of the white used for the skin tones.

I come from an artistic family and was always encouraged to explore my creative side while growing up.
We lived in a very isolated area of the West Coast when I was young and had no electricity or modern convenience's.
I think that this played a large part in nurturing my creative side.
I am House Artist for the Riverside Cafe in Upper Moutere, Motueke.
They are open for nine months of the year, and my art is exhibited for most of this time.
