"Joan" A portrait of my nana as a young woman.

Acrylics, ink, book pages and tissue paper have been used to create this original portrait of my Nana, Joan. I used an old sepia photo from the forties to capture her likeness.
I am a self taught artist and have been exhibiting and selling my art for about 12 years.
I come from an artistic family and was always encouraged to explore my creative side while growing up.
We lived in a very isolated area of the West Coast when I was young and had no electricity or modern convenience's.
I think that this played a large part in nurturing my creative side.
I am House Artist for the Riverside Cafe in Upper Moutere, Motueke.
They are open for nine months of the year, and my art is exhibited for most of this time.

I do lay by, any painting up to $300, 3 months to pay it off, after that add a month for every $100. For eg, $800 = 8 months.
This is just a guide as long as regular payments are made, if you need a bit longer that's fine.
All art work stays at the exhibition venue or in the artist possession and is shipped immediately when the final payment has cleared.
