AnimfxNZ 2009 ConceptArt.org and Massive Black

Now in its fourth year, AnimfxNZ 2009 brings together a mix of international speakers, including animation feature directors, vfx supervisors, digital artists and game developers. Presenters will share and interact with attendees during three days of; master classes, a full-day conference and workshops.

Presenters at AnimfxNZ 2009 include: Jeffrey Conrad - President and Chief Creative Officer of American Greetings Properties; John Stevenson - Co - Director of Kung FuPanda and story artist for Shrek, Shrek 2, and Madagascar; Rita Street - President of Radar Cartoons; Paul Debevec - Associate Director of Graphics Research at University of Southern California's Institute for Creative Technologies; Jeffrey Okun lead creator of visual effects for The Day the Earth Stood Still;  and other fantastic speakers.

This year AnimfxNZ has added children and student workshops, providing an insight into what working in the games, animation and visual effects industry is really like. This is a unique opportunity for children and students to learn from the world's best including the Director of Kung Fu Panda !
