Elegy For Alistair
A short documentary about the life of NZ poet Alistair Te Ariki Campbell. At age 7, after the deaths of both his parents, Campbell was sent from the Cook Islands to New Zealand. This journey resulted in the loss of his native language and culture. This documentary looks at how that loss affected his life and his poetry.
Directed by Julia Campbell, as part of a diploma is Video Post Production at Natcoll Design Technology Christchurch.
