Q Theatre Time Capsule
A piece of history has been concealed in the walls of Auckland's Q Theatre -- and won't be revealed for another 10 years.
In a special ceremony, a time capsule was inserted into a prominent wall in what will be the theatre's backstage area with instructions for it to be opened in 2020, 10 years after it was created.
Actor's Michael Hurst (Q Theatre Patron) and Ian Hughes did the honours alongside Papkura High School student, Duncan Armstrong and Q Theatre General Manager, Susanne Ritzenhoff.

Q is a performing arts venue at 305 Queen Street, right in the heart of Auckland City. This mid-sized flexible performance space, next door to the Town Hall, is a spirited and vibrant creative hub, showcasing the best of New Zealand theatre, dance music and comedy.
We also have a great cafe and bar, open from early til late, serving Supreme coffee, boutique beers and wines and killer cocktails alongside a delicious small plate menu.
