In 2008 I was fortunate to be able to offer the third year design students an assignment that would see the creation of my book covers for the books 'The Light guides the way, but the darkness holds sway'.
In this process I met my cover illustrator Amber Coubourgh whose covers I chose and who I have worked with since.

pharaeus lysanderGiving my imagination a place to manifest drew me into the written word when I was still formulating the distinctions between what was deemed reality to myself and what was considered reality to everyone else. During my early twenties I had what one could call a 'conscious awakening' that shook the very foundations of the five sense world I had adhered too during my adolescence.
The consequence was a path of self-discovery that meandered into realms that challenged the very basis of what I believed.
In my desire to give my revelations a voice, I created Oho Ake Books, penning a novel and two collections of short stories (all written under the guise of characters who encapsulate the knowledge I have been privy too for the last twenty years).
These first three books are the first in a series of two novels and another two collections of short stories that will consummate my visions of a world unfolding around us.
(my second novel, unrelated to the first, will be released mid-late 2011)
