I facebook therefore I am

I facebokk therefore I am

This is a bit of an idea for a body of work based on Barabara Krugers "I shop therefore I am."

after joining facebook and bing welcomed with messages like "where have you been" and "welcome to the new world" it was like I know exsisted for hundreds of people who had forgotten about me. To mantain this new found exisitance I must update my status with regularly with information about how wonderful my life in the real world is.

While I do believe consumption and the ownership of the sign is still significant in our society, facebook and sites like it now let people generate their own identities and signs. I want to make this as a screen saver and get as many people as possible to use it to spread my idea.
