New Zealand literature is for everyone and at NZ Book Month we believe supporting it means we're also creating opportunities for Kiwi's to support Kiwi's, getting us all actively participating in their own art cultur and heritage, generating a ground swell of positive activity around reading within Kiwi communities, fun and of course - GREAT BOOKS! There's a taste of great reading for every Kiwi. We hope you explore and enjoy.

New Zealand Book MonthNew Zealand Book Month (NZBM) began in 2006 and runs each September, showcasing New Zealand books and writers in the media, the web, and within a huge national events calendar.
The Month works to create a fresh new message about reading on a popular and very public basis. We work with a variety of literary organisations, publishers, booksellers, celebrities and charities to try and increase the spotlight on New Zealand writing across the board.
