Two Kiwis in Hong Kong

A beautifully illustrated book wittily written in the true kiwi spirit.

Delicately and not so delicately at times, the writer shares her voyages and forays living as an  'expat' in

Hong Kong.  This 58 page coffee table book which is peppered with short stories and  nostalgic poems

throughtout has proved to be a delightfully ticklish read.

A small sample of the delights inside:

Sunny or Sunday

The Dolorous Kiwi

Why say goodbye?

Signs (Watch My Lips)

The four seasons on a hill in Hong Kong

Don't step on my Blue Suede shoes

and many more...

Work and family ties took writer Patricia Gregson and illustrator Sarah - Jane Smith to Hong Kong and now aunt and niece conbine to recall their memories of Hong Kong during the 1990's-sometimes humorous-sometimes nostalgic-but always with a heart-beat still back home in New Zealand.
Some of the chapters are as follows:

    Song of a Dolorous Kiwi
    Sunny or Sunday
    The Hong Kong Blues
    Out Back O' Yuen Long
