This article is a brief profile of the Quarry Arts Centre in Whangarei. The Quarry was founded by Yvonne Rust, QSM, in 1980 and is today run by the Northland Craft Trust who continue the annual Summer Do, a ten day summer school for the arts in a variety of disciplines utilising nationally known tutors.
