Inside Work: Calling all artists

Make art in a park, have it seen in a quarry or even as signposts. There are all sorts of calls for creative works in Inside Work this week.

- Auckland Council calls all established or emerging artists with an interest in or empathy for the natural environment to hand in their applications for Artist in Residence 2011

- In Whangarei, The Quarry Arts Centre has an on-site outdoor ramble that you can submit works to over the next 12 - 18 months.

- The Papakura Art Gallery is seeking artworks now for a selected group exhibition titled Here Comes the Sun

- The Goethe-Institut is looking for two journalists and one photographer in Auckland to take part in an urban exchange in the form of a blog

- Glen Eden Village is calling on artists to create artistic footpath signs to decorate the streets in Glen Eden

- Acting Up is a Disability Arts Festival being held in Auckland in October 2011. Interacting Trust is seeking Expressions of Interest from artists, performers, speakers, and interested parties
