Inside Work: A foot in the door

• Weta (Retail Assistant): The Weta Cave is a retail outlet, mini museum and theatrette. It provides visitors with a window into the art and creativity of Weta Workshop. Experience in retail is essential.


• The Auckland Art Gallery (Retail Manager): Looking for a manager at the highest strategic level for the opening of their new shop at the Art Gallery. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong retail background and proven experience in merchandising (ideally in an art related area), sourcing strategies and writing business proposals.


• Q Theatre (Cafe/Bar Manager): Looking for someone with the right flair and strong business acumen to establish and run a successful cafe/bar operation under the umbrella Q Theatre. The cafe/bar will be an integral part of the theatre, reflecting the Q Theatre brand values while being established as an independent business unit.


• University of Auckland (Student Administrator): The National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries seeks to employ a person with exceptional administrative, organisational, communication and people skills to take a leading role in establishing systems and carrying out the administrative functions of the School of Music.


• The Depot recording studio (Internship): The Depot is offering a six month paid internship in our Depot Sound recording studio for a motivated person with a strong customer service focus and work ethic who is eager to learn.
