Community Circus Teacher
The role involves to train and teach at the Dargaville Creative Centre as well as set up new classes and workshops throughout Northland. You will assist the development of an active national network, organising regional and national festivals and conventions. Good organizational, planning and networking skills are essential.
Project Objectives and Desirable Outcomes
- Increase in circus skills opportunities for local young people.

- The development of fine and gross motor skills
- Improved circus and performance skills amongst more experienced students
- Continued positive development of relationships with key stakeholders
- Enhancing community pride in local area
- Increase in involvement of parents in children’s events at the community centre
