Zine Team Wanted
Become the new backbone of an established zine that has published some of New Zealand's finest, since 2007.
I seek three people to form a team with editorial skills, a sound background in poetry (preferably well-published in their own right), co-ordination skills and/or event-management skills. Together you will review submissions and produce six copies of side stream a year, organise the volunteer binding and folding team and organise the necessary fundraisers.
We are also continuously looking for more people to join the binding team.
No one is paid but it's a great project with a loyal following and a fantastic way to build a network among poets world-wide, as well as get a foot in the door to editing and publishing.
Not hugely labour intensive, but requires a couple of hours a week.
Must have passion for poetry.
