Community Development/Events Co-ordinator
Arts Access Aotearoa, a national organisation based in Wellington, advocates for access to and participation in the arts for all people. The Community Development Advisor and Events Co-ordinator helps us build, strengthen and promote community relationships as we work to improve access to the arts for disabled and marginalised people.
This is a dual role that requires the experience of a professional who will be an excellent co-ordinator, highly proficient at networking and able to provide timely advice to a diverse range of communities and individuals. The role also requires a person with initiative, and proven event design and management expertise.
In this role you will be a person ideally suited to working in a small, co-operative team environment and confident in your outreach to a variety of people and communities. You will have excellent administration, spoken and written communication skills and you will be a confident and active user of new media as essential networking tools. Some travel will be required.
If this sounds like you and you have excellent references, then our team would like to know about you.

Arts Access Aotearoa
We are a national organisation that strives for an inclusive society, where all people are able to participate in the arts, whatever their circumstances. We work to increase artistic opportunities for our key stakeholders: disabled people, disconnected youth, senior citizens, mental health service users, disadvantaged migrants and refugees. We are also the key organisation in New Zealand advocating for the arts as a tool for change in prisons.
