Job description: 

The position is administrator of the Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust whose main project is the production of the Dunedin Fringe Festival. The Trust also produces several other events.

The position is 20-40 hours per week depending on the time of year and the events in production. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team in a dynamic office environment.

The position begins 9 January 2012. The successful candidate will receive in-house training in December 2011.

Relevant Skills:

  • Experience keeping accounts, preferably with accounting software such as MYOB or Moneyworks
  • Understanding of business administration
  • Understanding of Front of House ticketing systems
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office programmes, use of spread sheets, etc
  • Familiar with use of internet, social media, and website administration
  • Methodical and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
