Sponsorship Advisor – Fixed term
Auckland Council is looking for a Sponsorship Advisor to join the Matariki Festival team in the lead up to the next Matariki Festival (21 June to 21 July 2012).
Reporting to the Matariki Festival Director, the Sponsorship Advisor will help undertake the sponsorship for the 2012 Matariki Festival, including updating of the sponsorship strategy, maintain sponsorship relationships, sourcing of sponsors, preparation of proposals and the management and fulfilment of sponsor contracts.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills and attention to detail and will be able to demonstrate prior management of effective sponsor relationships. Experience in the arts or event sponsorship is preferred.
This is a fixed term position from December 2011 until November 2012.
