Like our Museum, Te Papa’s retail stores are filled with amazing items that all have a story to tell.

We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Sales Assistant to join our successful retail team working across three stores.

Our vibrant museum stores are open 7 days a week including late nights, weekends and public holidays including Christmas Day, so applicants must be available and willing to work these times. This role will be rostered across varying hours and days of work.

To be successful in these roles, you will have excellent knowledge and experience of selling in a busy retail environment and you will enjoy providing exceptional customer service. You will share our enthusiasm for achieving sales targets and enjoy engaging with people to deliver outstanding customer service within our unique retail business.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
