Wellington's leading Convention Centre provides a wide range of event services and has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic motivated person to join their Event Coordination team for a fixed term.
This role primarily involves assisting users of Civic Square with the planning and delivery of their events by providing a committed coordination service that exceeds client expectations every time; while managing stakeholder expectations, and maintaining a safe public environment.
Key requirements include:
- Practical experience in event logistics or operational skills in event organisation a must
- Strong knowledge of the events industry
- Professional and willing attitude with a focus on service excellence and customer first
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven relationship-building skills
- Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and written, are essential
- Flexibility and capability of working on multiple projects is essential
- Strong PC skills and attention to detail a must
- The willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Working knowledge and experience of health and safety legal requirements in event management.
