Artistic Director
Christchurch Arts Festival is one of New Zealand’s key cultural assets and a major national arts festival. It is seeking a passionate and dynamic Executive Director to take responsibility for management of the organisation and a creative and innovative Artistic Director to plan and arrange the artistic content for the 2011 and 2013 Christchurch Arts Festivals.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Executive Director and with the Board of Trustees to stage a growing biennial arts festival that meets strategic objectives by providing an exciting and challenging event for Christchurch.
The Artistic Director will be a leading arts programmer with extensive national and international arts networks and proven ability planning and negotiating a first-class arts programme. They will have excellent relationship management and communication skills, as well as knowledge of the media and public relations.
